GREAT FALLS, Mont. — So what does the world’s oldest man eat? The answer is not much, at least not too much.
Walter Breuning, who turned 113 on Monday, eats just two meals a day and has done so for the past 35 years.
“I think you should push back from the table when you’re still hungry,” Breuning said. -usatoday
MY COMMENT: Who knows, but my theory is the key to longevity is eat to meet but not exceed your energy demands. In other words, if you exercise a substantial amount, it would be ok to bump up your calorie intake and eat some dinner! I also advocate “grazing” on healthy snacks to keep your blood glucose stable and appetite in check.

MY COMMENT: Eating 25 grams of fiber a day won’t leave much room for nutrient deficident high calorie junk. I’d include nuts as a healthy additional source of fiber.
A consumer activist group sued Denny’s Corp on Thursday, saying the restaurant chain’s menus should disclose the “dangerously high” levels of sodium in its meals.
The Center for Science in the Public Interest said most Americans should consume no more than 1,500 milligrams of sodium each day, but some meals at Denny’s contain more than 5,000 milligrams -Nutrition News and Information

I know I am , and I’ve never even seen Biggest Loser. I am sure she must be a nice person, but I checked out her free weight loss plan by completing the required forms, and next thing I know they were asking for credit card information ($4 a week).
