MY COMMENT: One of the easiest ways to improve your diet is to increase consumption of fruits and vegetables. If you are not averaging 2 fruits and 3 vegetable servings per day, ask yourself why not? It’s not that hard.

MY COMMENT: 4 pounds in 12 weeks? These subjects were supposed to be following the DASH Diet- I am curious how much cheating was going on. Unless you have absolutely no blood pressure problems, I’d choose the low sodium version. And don’t get the idea that all you need to do is drink a can of juice at breakfast and the pounds will melt away.
